Wow. Your Facebook comment was completely out of line. You are about to go on a second date with him, and you make a public announcement about movie plans and a homemade cupcake. Way to go and embarrass the guy!!! He's there on FB for basic friendship and networking. Maybe he's got co-workers as FB contacts. If he wanted everyone to know his personal business, then he might as well post the passwords to his voicemail and emails to everyone can check those out too.
If you thought that giving him a homemade cupcake might be too weird, why on earth would you post your dating agenda on his very public Facebook account? Why not send him a private message instead? Was it some perverse test to see if he had any other girlfriends or to see how serious he was about liking you?
By deleting all the comments by girls on his account just shows that he doesn't want any teen type dramas on his Facebook page. After all, it's not MySpace.
I'm surprised that you didn't post that you love "going steady" with him...
lol? hes embarassed because people can see hes got a date with a girl?
wouldnt mind her posting that myself on my wall. but yeah, when i was dating more then one girl if i gave out my facebook i would make sure i only gave it to one girl at a time to avoid drama. this dood is definitely dating a few girls at a time if hes deleting her comments
I enjoy throwing cupcakes. They are just heavy enough to get a really solid aim through the air but light enough to not cause any real damage. The bonus is the frosting can make for a hilarious explosion.
Well...giving a guy during the 2nd date anything is a bit odd, actually. It should be the other way around :P
But you can always do it discreetly. Say you were baking cupcakes and giving them out to friends and you happened to have one left so you wanted to save the last one for him ;D Another excuse could be giving it to him under the guise that you wanted his input on your cooking skills. Don't forget to wrap it up in a nice cellophane sheet and a ribbon as I would imagine you'd be giving to him while on the go during your 2nd date...
I've done this type of thing before. I once had a guy who told me that he loved Reese's Pieces candy. It was just an innocent thing said in passing. Well, the next time I saw him I gave him a small bag of 50 cent Reese's Pieces. That was the best 50 cents I've ever spent and it really went a long way. It let him know that I listen to him as well as I am not afraid to show that hey, I like you.
I don't know about this Facebook stuff, though. I swear that place is the Devil's playground.
I made cupcakes and want to give him one, but I don't know if it's kinda odd.
Does it have sprinkles? If it doesn't he will probably break-up with you.
