I have my reasons. Even though I'm not getting any, the bright side is that I don't have to worry about spending my money on whoever. That's one less problem in my life.

Default me too

same here. One thing I'm not looking forward to is I am attracted to someone I work with and i dread to have to hear if she is involved with anyone on Valentine's Day(we will be working together Sunday the 14th)

This will be my 4th year in a row being single on Valentine's Day. Oh well. The only thing I don't like about it is that V day, like xmas, is one of those days where you are painfully aware of your single status.

Amen brotha. I'll simply buy one of my closest female friends some Russell Stover candies (women love that) and a heartfelt card, call it a day. If I get some, that's cool.

This will be the one year anniversary from when my husband left. I wonder how I should celebrate?

I will be single at a hockey game, hoping for a fight. =)

I've never had a good Valentine's Day...no reason to start now, I guess.

I didn't grow up with this holiday, so I really don't care. I have done things on that day, but I can just easily do nothing without being bummed out at all.

I don't feel bad about not having anyone. Just seems like another day really.

I really dislike Valentine's Day, whether I'm single or partnered. It's just a day of expectations and stress for everyone, IMO.

I just started dating someone a few weeks ago so I have no idea what to do about this holiday, grrrr. Too much or too little could mess things up.

I did not particularly like valentine's day for a while, in part, because a somewhat long relationship was ended by mutual decision on one. During this period I started spending the day with people who were similarly negatively inclined towards valentine's day and that was a blast. I will probably do that again...no sense in getting yourself upset just because of a day.
