I would not mind an attracive woman standing so close to me. Kate Beckinsale or Evan Rachel Wood can invade my personal space all they want. But if you are a guy or an ugly chick, fuggedaboutit.
I only remember this happening once. I was sitting in a restaurant booth opposite my husband. Facing me, in the booth behind DH was a very attractive man...He might have been able to hear our conversation. I felt as if I had never been so witty or vibrant. I felt a pull from this man which was both alarming and exhilarating. I wonder if he felt the same, or if it was all just in my head? I'll never know, but it's fun to think about it.
