This is kind of a mindless easy thread...not to be taken too seriously!

I have noticed that quite often couples color-coordinate their outfits when they go out, or even wear something that is matching.
There was one couple I noticed few days ago: a man was wearing a navy/red argyle vest and his girlfriend (or wife) was wearing the same exact vest in smaller size.

Do you tend to color-coordinate with your partner when you go out?

Nope. I don't have many of her colors nor would I want to wear anything pink. I also don't want to stand there for 5 years waiting for her to pick out the correct shade of <insert color here> so that it matches exactly.

I also dress to be comfortable, not what someone else wants me to wear.

I could understand it if it were halloween and you're going as Fred and Wilma, or some other couple like that.

LOL No, I'd feel a little silly. But I have seen some couples who look cute together like that.

Funny thread MM! I don't wear matching clothes with my husband. We may end up wearing the same color combination sometimes but it is only by coincidence.

Besides, I don't think he would look to good in some of the colors I wear. I mean, I don't see too many men that can pull off pinks, oranges, bright blues, etc.

My wife tries to coordinate to what I'm wearing and it makes me crazy. We're not the Partridge Family or a Mariachi Band. It's ok to dress differently.

Funny responses so far!

My husband and I also don't color coordinate, but at least I want to make sure that I don't look overly casual or overly glamorous in comparison to what he is wearing and he does the same for me.
Actually, he first checks with me on what I'm wearing and then tries to compliment it.

Sometimes we do, but inadvertently. I do his and my laundry together, so the fresh batch of clothes in the closet might include a bunch of clean red shirts or brown sweaters. We're both autumns and wear the same colors, so yeah, sometimes we'll look at one another and laugh because we have on similar clothes.

My cousin and her family do dress alike on purpose, but that's too cutesy for me.

I think it's nice to have the same taste in colors.
