How do you prefer to spend time with your significant other? Is it snuggling in bed? Is it just holding hands? Is it being alone together? Is it at home? Is there a preferred time of day or time of year? Is it doing something very physical together like hiking or playing a sport (or bedroom olympics)? What is it?
We are both hellacious foodies. So when he is in town, we spend a lot of time cooking at home or eating out, going to festivals or wine tastings, shopping at specialty and farmers markets. I suppose we should spend more time doing outdoorsy stuff, but it's getting to be really hot in Texas, so we'll just have to risk getting fat. More of us to love.
Kind of an odd question. Are you bored in your own relationship??
We do outdoors stuff pretty much every weekend. I only see him once during the week, and on that night, we either go shopping, see a movie, grab a bite for dinner...or cook in. We like snuggling, holding hands, being alone...all that. I sorta think most couples do.

YES.
It only matters that we are spending time together. At home alone, with others at home, with others out, morning noon and night, taking walks, sitting, standing, in bed, out of bed. About 90% of the time, we communicate with touch - we hold hands often, even when sitting watching TV together, but when we can't hold hands (while on the computers side by side), we touch - just a reach out and caress my hand, his arm, knees touching; not a lot of time goes by that we don't communicate - I like your company - in some way.
We have separate hobbies and each have our own hobby room in the house, but we don't do those activities for hours on end, we always take a break and connect with each other. Even just a quick - how're you doing.

Drives. Running around on foot--he walks too fast so it helps keep me on my toes and in shape--sight seeing, shopping and such. Going out to eat, staying in and getting close. Or closer. Listening to music together. Short jaunts and travels when we can. Talking about nothing or just enjoying each other in silence. Anything really and it's alwaysl special because it's usually his suggestion which tells me he wants to be with me. I've never been one to try to force a guy to do things with me because you can't force quality time.
We do all kinds of stuff. We try to go on at least one 'mini vacation' a month, which usually involves driving somewhere and visiting a museum, aquarium or something along those lines. We used to go walking with the dogs, or bike riding together, but my medical condition has been 'flaring up' and my joints/bones have been hurting so we don't spend as much time being active as we used to
Now, we've started to piece together a 40 gallon saltwater reef tank and that's given us a lot of time to spend together. We also play the Wii a lot... we get to virtual punch each other which is always a good stress release
we spend all of our time looking for midgets to fight and nothing else
"you must spread some reputation around before giving it to Ep again" - dang that was funny!!!
