I totally agree with this! It's just religious tradition (and some greedy clergymen) who insist tithes must be given church. What about the Biblical commandments to take care of the widows, the homeless, ect? Why can't this be one's tithes?

Wow...personally, I think that test is pretty accurate as long as you're qilling to take your time and answer to the way you REALLY are and not what you WANT to be
OK, I noticed that I had the over all lowest scores on the test. However, I did answer honestly and I do think that it was pretty accurate. (no matter how low some of the scores were)

No, I'm afraid I'm a real sucker for a sad story. I think the local homeless shelter has a picture of me so that everyone will be sure to recognize me in the parking lots, gas stations, Wendy's drive-thru. You name it...
However, I did consider all giving! Not just church. But we are very generous "Catholics". I have watched those dollar bills go by in the basket.

Honestly, my church doesn't really need my $$. I do give a portion of my tithe to them and to their missionaries, but I give another portion to para-church organizations and other missionaries.

I am not sure this is completely accurate. Administration and ruling are different in different settings. I am a school teacher and school counselor by trade, so I am fully capable of ruling a group of teenagers, but I would never, ever want an actual administrator's job!
