How was Noah declared righteous?
7By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
Wasn't righteousness available to all?
18For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by
the Spirit, 19through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison 20who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.
Looks like God did send Jesus!

Rubbish! I'm not God, and you're not either. We are not in a position to question God.

Baloney!
Hebrews 9
22In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Your very best (and mine) is rubbish to God!
Isaiah 64
6 All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
Romans 3:23
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God>
