For those of you that aren't aware, Leslie Nielsen passed away yesterday at the age of 84, after a brief battle with pneumonia.
With a long and successful career behind him, including Frank Drebin in the Naked Gun and a Doctor in Airplane, as well as Mr. Magoo in the recent motion-picture updates, he will be missed.
Now children, behave yourselves. Whether or not there is anything beyond death, may we all take a moment to remember someone who made an impression on our lives?
He was a funny guy, but I remember the first thing I saw him in: Forbidden Planet. Surely one of finest best science fiction classics of all time...and stop calling me Shirley.
i've loved Mr. Nielsen's work since my early childhood.
i don't know how he was ever able to keep a straight face...he was so funny.
he will be missed and i'am glad he was here.
