Science has no answer to explain how the universe came to be without a creator.
"We don't know" doesn't really cut it.
To say the the universe "just happened" is not logical. Cause and effect is how things work around here.

And that article assumes that every Christian is a Young Earth Creationist. They are but a small minority. Weak sauce (again).
Who says the universe was created? Maybe it has always been here, always changing for infinity in both directions in time. That's my (high school level of science) hunch.
Then perhaps he would have mentioned something REALLY SIMPLE in the bible, like "wash your hands and you'll get sick less often". Ya think?
He did tell us this in the bible. God provides in His word...
instructions on how to deal with wound, skin & discharge issues
instructions on how to deal with waste disposal
instructions for instances of isolation
instructions for burial precautions
instructions for safe food & water precautions.
This is "really simple" stuff, such as washing and bathing after coming into contact with a sick person or contact with a wound discharge... stuff we do today too. Following these simple instructions would reduce he risk of infection and the spread of illness/disease.
I thought the point of science, for you scientifically minded types, was to find everything out the hard way, instead of taking the obvious and easy explanations.
You want it handed to you on a silver platter too?
The point of science is to answer questions and address the unknown, or little known. Sometimes discoveries come easy, even accidentally, but most times it requires a lot of work. Thinking is hard, unlike faith which is the easy way to explain things, although almost always wrong, as science has proven in the past few centuries...There are very few "God gaps" left.

Riiiiiight. Which is why it took until 1847 for someone (Ignaz Semmelweis) to go "HEY! If we wash our hands in between patients, they DIE LESS!" Sadly, he was pretty much laughed down, and the practice didn't become standard until after his death...ironically from septicemia. Yeah, your precious book of myths is a really good reference for health purposes. Not.
As usual the "what if" arguement fails at the beginning. It assumes that it is correct with a total lack of fact and evidence.
