I don't know if this is the correct forum, but perhaps someone has some advice for me. We are moving to Virginia Beach in a few weeks and will be actively looking for a church right away.
While we have always belonged to a Church of God In Christ and would obviously prefer that, we are most concerned about belonging to a strong, well-organized Bible teaching church with an effective and committed youth program(we have 4 kids between 7 and 16), a cohesive congregation who truly enjoy being together, outreach ministries and uplifting, spiritual worship services and leaders who truly love the Lord and care about the building of His kingdom.
I would greatly appreciate any input anyone has!
Can't help ya as I live in California. We're in the process of relocating to Austin and I asked the same question over in that forum and got a lot of responses. You might want to try the same thing in the Virginia forum if you don't get many responses here. Good luck.

Actually my recommendations would be Bethel Temple (my old church in Hampton, may be too far from VA Beach for you) and Calvary Baptist in Norfolk (close by). I'm sure you'll find a great church down there.
