Let me just say this .. I have no idea as I'm sure many others .. have no idea of what this 'March' on the Whitehouse is about .. or trying to prove?

Getting arrested, spending 5 years in a Federal prison .. some of it in solitary confinement?

This is what gives Christians .. not only a bad name but .. marks them as kooks!

I'm sorry but as God said .. We are to follow the laws of Man .. "Unless" those laws conflict with the Laws of God!

BTW: Jesus never Marched upon the Whitehouse.

I guess it depends on what your definition of a Christian is; many at the time of Jesus thought that he and his followers were giving everybody else a bad name.
These people did not march upon/on the White House either, they marched TO the White House to ask the President Obama to close down the School of the Americas at Fort Benning Georgia where our government/military trains right wing death squards to torture, rape and kill the poorest of the poor in Latin American countries in the name of American interests.
Jesus spoke up for the poor
Christians are called to live out the Gospel message
Helping the poor and oppressed is a constant theme in the New Testemant, Jesus had to keep repeating it because many of the people just were not getting it; how little things have changed today.

Unfortunately many Christian denominations condon these actions which include many within Protestant fundamentalism, Evangelical and many within the Catholic Hierarchy.

When United Methodist Pastor Carol Richardson spoke before a group of religious leaders from the Bible Belt about the horrors of what was happening their only thought was "But what does Sam Nunn think?"

LOL That is some of the most ridiculous stuff I've read in a long time! They are trained to be better soldiers, they're not trained to be "death squads" and certainly not trained to rape and torture. Also, to attempt to link them to a political affiliation is beyond silly.

Ted Kaczynski went to Harvard, University of Michigan and taught at UC Berkley - are those institutions responsible for him becoming the Unabomber?

When I dared to ask why the hierarchy of the Catholic Church isn't doing anything about it I was told that it was political and that they stay out of political things, this respose I get from bishops that have adopted the Republican Party platform as the teaching of our Church9 some bishops have come out and said a Catholiccannot be considered to be in good standings with the Church if they vote for a Democrat for president

Since when has basic human rights become a political issue, I guess Jesus was the biggest politician in that case.

Maybe god doesn't side with anyone.
I lived in Germany for many years and heard this popular saying: Everybody for himself, and god against everyone.
