I m maybe losing a dear friend soon cuz of his diseases, and cuz he is living in far away, i have tried many times to make him a christian, but i m really still not sure if he really honestly accepted Jesus into his heart.....so now,if he is not saved and will go to hell soon, i feel i also do not care of myself future, i also want to go to hell, cuz i love him so v much, he is like my dad, he offered me many help in my life.
same time, i also feel i m betraying God,
Please realize that you cannot change someone and that only GOD can give him a change of heart. He will most likely make the right choice, don't give up on him nor give up your own faith. GOD will make a way.

We do not have the power to bring people to God through Christ. All we can do is pray and introduce them to Him. When God is ready he will draw him to himself. Your prayers are your best resource for saving your friend. Pray and have faith, because God is Faithful Know this.
I'm coming a bit late to this and I'm not very good at comforting people for their loss, but I can say one thing I do believe, if it helps your fears at all: wherever your friend is going, you are going, too and no-one is going to punish anyone else for doing their best in life.

And people ask, What does it hurt if someone believes in God? This is exactly what it hurts. Be confident that your friend will not go to hell because there is no evidence that it exists. Neither will you. Just be a good friend to him and his family during this difficult time. This is the best you can do.
