They are also called Mandeans (Baptizer) John the Baptist is the best known of the Sabians. There is only a small remnant left and they are in Iraq. They were declared a gnostic sect by the early Roman/Greek Christian Church and went into exile. They are the last people who still speak the true Aramaic of the Biblical times.

Not to be confused with the name of a musical instrument company called Sabian: See HERE

All may look to Abraham and have roots with the Man who knew God and had history in their religion... and understand that the God that Abraham talked to is the God that they want to believe and worship..... And the Father God that talked to Abraham will say today...`They all worship me``......Jesus Christ will say``I do know these ones as they have no faith in my Words I cannot hear them and their prayers and the spirit that helps them I do not know that spirit``.......... The faith of Abraham is that he believed in God and if you said to Abraham that God spoke to you ...Abraham would be very interested in what God said to you.......if people of these faith are not interested and have no honor in what God spoke to people then they will Not have the faith that Abraham had......... This what Jesus said in the Bible about people who claim that they are the children of Abraham......

Does this mean you believe Abraham prayed to Jesus(as)?

"And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better, except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our god and your god is One, and to Him we have submitted." (46) [Ch:29]

Christians claim that they worship the G-d of Avraham (Abraham), Yitzhak (Issac) and Yaacov (Jacob), while Muslims claim that they worship Allah.

"Allahu Akbar" does not mean "God is great" as claimed. It actually means Allah is greater.

The connotation is more like Allaah is the Greatest of all that exists, has existed and.will exist.

The name Allaah is indescribable in human understanding as it contains within in it all of the attributes Allaah has, which are beyond our comprehension.
