Although I'm not Christian (since I'm not baptised) I still wear cross and have big one in my car.
The reason for it because we are proud for believe in Christ and accept him the truth saviour.
He taught us and gave us very good point. I feel protected having and wearing cross.
It's such a beautiful thing.
Some also wear it because it's part of their culture. Middle Easterns are very religious (like Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians etc.).
Assyrians still speak Aramaic (Jesus native language). Where I live there are lots of them. It's very related to Hebrew & Arabic (another semitic language).
It seems funny but also interesting.... wherever I am anywhere in the U.S., I see cross and Christian-related stuff all the time, even in ''less religious places''. Churches are fine, but why is it that many people wear 'cross' or Christian bracelet or something that shows that they are Christians? Even inside their cars, like 30% of all cars have 'cross' on rear side mirror whatsoever. This is even mainly outside the bible belt area... Even in New York metro area (esp. NJ) I see this all the time.
When I visited many countries in Europe, I saw much less of this.
I know that 80% of the U.S. are Christians and 2.2 billion worldwide, but why do they have to show that they believe in Christ?
What you really have to watch out for are those businesses who advertise that they are a "christian" run business. More often than not, these are the businesses that will rip you off in a heartbeat.
I enjoy wearing execution jewelry. I have a cross, an electric chair, a guillotine, an iron maiden, a gallows and a hypodermic needle. I'd like to get a necklace with a little gas chamber on it if anybody knows where I can find one.
