At the Big Bang moment, especially when particle elements composed , Why those particle elements did not continue going on in the speed of light ? Why they were create and affected by "Higgs field" to have a mass then made it possible for life to exist in the future ?
Do you think that discovery can be in favor of the existence of God or a rational forces ?
What do you think ?
It's religiously neutral, despite the unscientific term "god particle". It no more confirms or disproves the existence of god then neutrinos or electrons did, it's just another piece of the puzzle of understanding the physics of the natural world. If you can look at physics and argue god, great, and you can do the opposite. This doesn't really change any of that.
Essentially, as BimBam said, it is really only important to science, not religion or the 'Who made everything then?' debate.
'God' in the sense of an intelligent thinking being that intervenes in human affairs and interacts with humans, and especially those described and documented in the Holy Books is a different debate entirely from First Cause and is pretty much done and dusted and what science has found has pushed First cause so far back to a postulated creative impulse which was behind the emergence of matter that it is a Deist rather than a theist argument and 'Which God' and 'which Religion' doesn't apply, since the Religious accounts of how it happened are just wrong unless one interprets them VERY freely indeed.
To call them 'metaphorical or 'symbolic' is just a synonym for 'Actually untrue - the scientific account is true'.
So as BimBam says, whatever is discovered about the particles that make up matter or were the first particles to emerge as matter, that just pushes First cause back another step to 'Ok - what made those then?'

Imagine a shallow pond. It's completely filled with water. The water is a medium with no space or gaps even though it is composed on H2O molecules. A narrow fish can pass through it very fast. It has little resistance. But if a bulky person tries to wade through it, that person passes through the water more slowly because the person isn't a fish and has more resistance passing through the water. Different particles are composed differently. Some pass through the Higgs field and bosons quickly, some are slower. The reason for that is because of how certain particles interact with the Higgs bosons.

When the Higgs field is disturbed, that disturbance is what generates a Higgs boson. All bosons are associated with fields. Because the Higgs field and the Higgs bosons are everywhere, even inside your own body, particles are constantly passing through the field and interacting with the Higgs bosons. As particles interact with the Higgs, some obtain greater mass, some less mass. Some particles, like photons, are massless because they don't interact with the Higgs bosons even though they pass through the Higgs field like all other particles. Trying to jump from the Higgs field and bosons to life in the future, is a mighty biig leap. There's a LOT of processes that take place before you get to life.

It's component of the Standard Model of particle physics. Think of it as you would a headlight bulb on your automobile. The light bulb is a part. It says nothing about the company that made the automobile. The Higgs boson tells us nothing about God. It is just a part of what is called the Standard Model of particle physics. It's like asking if a toenail is in favor of the existence of God.

The Higgs field is a possibly discovered, ubiquitous quantum field supposedly responsible for giving elementary particles their masses. All quantum fields have a fundamental particle associated with them. The particle associated with the Higgs field is the Higgs boson.[Wiki]
There is an interestng article here on where the Higgs -Boson came from and I like the hints that the particles might be more the product of fields (if I may try to fit the idea in my personbal preference - matter as nothingness with some powers). I also expect that someone will one day say 'Hey, suppose the Big bang isn't what made the universe, but was just one Big Bang out of a whole cosmos full of them?'
