Why on earth would the devil bother with buying souls? There are so many crooks, liars, thieves in this world,, that Hell probably has a waiting line at the gate.

Like they have at fancy nightclubs. All those people just standing in line waiting for room inside so they can go in.

I suspect that what OP is looking at is mental illness. Does a merciful god condemn the mentally ill to hell for being ill?
