I'm confused, is your argument that because you never reached a sub-saharan African degree of darkness over your life time or even your grand-fathers, grand-father has any bearing on evolutionary changes that took tens of thousands of years?

Seriously??

The fact that you got a tan at all should indicate that the melanin in your skin reacts to the absorption or decrease of exposure to the Sun's utra violet radiation should amply demonstrate the concept that just a small tweek in your genetic makeup would lead a melanin reaction in a far more dramatic fashions.

I think you missed the entire point I have been trying to make. The claims out there is this harsh African sun that makes the folk here black. I was merely illustrating the environment is not so harsh and that this assertion fails either way you spin it. There are dark skinned indigenous people all over the world.

Well that's one thing we agree on.

Do you spend every hour of every day roaming naked over the countryside for thousands of generations? No I didn't think so. As for proving the point, you did it for us by pointing out that people across the globe who live closest to the equator are dark skinned.

And by the way, they also represent the earliest migrants out of Africa moving out of Africa down the coast of India, into Australia and the Polynesian islands.

Thanks.
