And the needle's eye gate...well, they have the dosh to have it rebuilt so you could drive a top -range motorhome through it.

Actually, I've been told that the prosperity gospel is real big among the poor in Africa. The prosperity teachers go off to Africa on their private jets, and look good to everyone who thinks they are going to convert the heathen. Truth be told, they fleece them of the little they have.
the sad part is not the preachers, it is the actual christians that are decieved. they scream 'amen' as they sow a seed. that is the worse. They are being decieved because the system has created a chasm between the preacher and the pew warmer. as if the preacher is special and has more insight. the pew warmers have no idea of the power of Christ in their lives. if they did, they would not have to sow seeds, they would realize that it is already all theirs.
