I just find it absolutely hilarious that your inadvertent typos were actual names of actual people/places! I'm amused at the premise of your thread because it's obviously very tongue and cheek, but I can't say that it interests me enough to actually say anything serious on the matter.

And to answer your question: Yes you will be punished! No supper for you! Go to CD Tartarus for 1 year! Do not pass GO, do not collect $200! You've been a bad, bad monkey!

Tis the bain of spell check. They won't let you type a misspelled but the wrong word... be its guest just keep blithely typing way as long as the wrong word is not misspelled.

Actually, that would be "bane."

My thoughts are inspired by god, but my fingers are guided by the devil.

Been watching the exchange and again it comes down to (as it so often does) 'Who made everything, then?'

Being reluctant to put forward hypotheses as fact where we really don't know (something that doesn't bother the goddunnit - believers for a moment) we say we don't know.

This allows you, Vizza, old mate, to claim Goddunnit as the default. This is actually invalid, but never mind. Let's play it according to your rules.

Let's say that the universe is made of matter. I mean a much bigger cosmos than we know of and of which our own universe is only a small part. Since matter is made up of particles that are as near nothing as makes no difference, the idea that particles can coalesce out of nothing is far from impossible. It may be happening all the time as we speak. Now, suppose that the particles (as we have evidence to suggest happens with free- floating mineral particles in space) came together over a long period of time until it collapsed under its own neutron -star weight and exploded or 'unfolded' I believe is the preferred term in the 'Big Bang' and we get the universe we know of.

There may be similar events happening all over the multiverse. Now there is an explanation. Purely hypothetical, but an explanation, which is what you asked for. It deals with all the problem of where it all came from, why it happened and entropy too, because the basic stuff it comes from is effectively what a totally stagnated cosmos would come to.

Now, you can't reject that as nonsense or you are refusing to look at 'evidence'. You can't say I don't know that as I know I don't. It is a possible alternative to goddunnit.

Now you produce any reason why we should believe 'goddunnit' rather than 'we don't know but probably nature dunnit'.

But that isn't the best bit. Listen carefully, Vizza mate, you're going to love this. Suppose you are tempted to insist that a creative mind had to have provided the Will or impulse to start it all off, which creative mind are we talking about? Why 'God' (Let alone YHWH) rather than Zeus, Obin, and Vishna or any of the similar sounding obsolete gods?

It doesn't matter that you believe in one more god than any atheist, why is it more logical to believe that one dunnit rather than any of the others?
