the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“By the One is Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad,
not one of this nation, Jew or Christian, will hear of me
and will die without having believed in that with which I have been sent,
but he will be one of the dwellers of Hell fire.”
notice that the prophet just mentioned Jew or Christian but what about the atheists and others
the Jew and Christian have Holy books and have messengers and they are ordered to follow the final holy book and the final messenger
there for the others who do not have holy book are ought to do that.
I feel sorry for any one who will hear of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
and will die without having believed in that with which he has been sent.

Everyone believes their way is the right way.
It is also fine to discuss "our individual ways" with each other in a scholarly and friendly environment to better understand and learn to respect each other's faith.
However, it's wrong when we try to enforce our way onto others, OR go out on a quest to prove that my way is the only way.
The call to follow a certain faith, (whether you are born into it or whether you have done your research and took the decision based on your intelligence) comes from within.
Forcing your faith onto others or getting into arguments to prove that my faith is the one, is a fruitless endeavor.
Meekness and docility is the key.
Lets put it this way - God is a peak of the mountain, and different faiths are all different routes to reach the peak.
We are following what we think is the best way for us individually. We have all made our choices on our free will, and we will be responsible for our choices.
