It was the Angel that spoke to Mary and said:Luke 1:30

Jesus' question in Luke 20:41-44 brings out a difficulty that the leading Jews had concerning the nature of the Messiah. "And He said to them, "How can they say that the Christ is the Son of David? Now David himself said in the Book of Psalms: 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."' Therefore David calls Him 'Lord'; how is He then his Son?"" (Luke 20:41-44).
Since the leading Jews refused to believe that Jesus was the Messiah, Jesus asked them whose son was the Christ (Matthew 22:41-42). They answered that he would be the son of David. Mark 12:35 points out that this is as the scribes had been teaching the people. Jesus then asks them how David, in Psalm 110:1, could call the Messiah his Lord when the Messiah was his descendant. The word "Lord" is reserved for a person who is over the person, yet a descendant would normally be seen as under the ancestor. In asking, Jesus rules out a mistake on David’s part by emphasizing that David spoke these words by the inspiration of the Spirit of God.
The answer to Jesus’ question is clear if one accepts that the Messiah was superior to David because of his divine nature. Yet, those Jesus was addressing would not accept that God could be born in human form, thus they could not determine an answer to Jesus’ question. In other words, their expectation concerning the Messiah was less than what the Scriptures indicted.

It seems that you have erroneously established a set of criteria for "personal qualifications" for whomever you're waiting for. Whom you're waiting for is yourself. God has already saved you by placing Holy Spirit within you. That is God's Gift to each sentient being. That is the only permanent part of you, the only part of you that has never left God. Though it remains as only a potential within most to be discovered, some have reclaimed and cultivated it so that it can express itself in the world.
God is God of all universes (of which the physical universe, as vast as it is, is only a small fraction) and in all dimensions. Can you imagine God of this scale? Can you expand your perspective? The human race is but one race among countless many species of intelligent beings in the physical universe. God does not micromanage any one cell, any one individual, any one race, or any one world. All that is within the physical universe is allowed to evolve and develop on its own. God rarely ever intervenes. Yet, at critical times in human history, a Messenger of God would be sent into the world to receive God's Revelation. At some point in the Messenger's life, when he is ready, he would be prepared to reclaim Holy Spirit within himself. The Angelic Assembly, a part of hierarchy in God that watches over the well-being and development of this world as well as others, would reveal God's Message to the Messenger. Through the Messenger's voice, the Message will be spoken. When the Messenger yields to Holy Spirit within himself and yields to the Angelic Assembly to allow the Angelic Presence to speak God's Revelation through him, such state is what has been called Holy Trinity.
