Since there is no such thing as a God, no. I don't believe any spirit/ghost/deity/sprite/energy/whatever has does anything to or for me, because they're not real.
If you believe in God, than you would have to think that whatever happens to you is his plan. Right?

I think God gave me the ability to choose, I do not believe He forces those choices. I'm strongly connected to my husband but also have a very strong connection to another man. God isn't the one who forced either of these men in to my life, otherwise this would be one cruel cosmic joke. God leaves me to make the right decision based on my convictions.
The Mr. would say that his god brought us together. I'd say my persistence and his cooperation with my persistence is what brought us together. Really, there's no functional difference; either way we're together whether a supernatural force was involved on not.

Plan yes, only I know He gives me choices and His Plan is to allow me those choices. I also believe we have infinite paths we could follow based on those choices and as long as the choices are morally justifiable we are blessed. God doesn't force anyone's hand.
