So to set it straight not from Mike who at times can' t grasp the "rules", God will and does judge us ( because He can!!) God is legalistic as it gets( He has that authority) God can and does allow judgments on nations( He has for centuries and CAN!) God is LOVE ...BUT ... He also is a horrifying consuming fire and will burn the living daylights out of His enemies!!). God will destroy you if He chooses to He will crush disobediant "word" disconnects ( the most ignorant in the world!).When a society kills His infants, guns down His beloved creation, changes His marriage covenant, perverts His woird with religion He has little to do with, He will nail you!!

I feel sorry for people like this guy. I mean, it is obvious he does not have the mental capacity needed to understand all that is wrong with this kind of thinking.

Your thread title is in fact correct. Your god exhibits contrariness far in excess of that displayed by human beings. A father who deliberately places his children in harms way, in order that he can further punish them by torturing them for eternity is in fact so contrary, no, just down right evil, that Satan as described in the Bible is a pussycat in comparison.
Of course, this is why it boggles the mind that you believe that God is in any sense good and loving...
