That comment is a thoroughly mean, hateful and insulting thing to say.
Every time I have had the displeasure to come across one of your posts, you have something mean and and insulting to say about atheists, - painting all atheists with the same brush.
The majority of the time I let it slide because I can't be bothered to respond, but when you start insulting children I'm going to step in.
You wouldn't know an atheist in real life if you fell over one. You form all your opinions from a tiny selection of atheists that post on internet forums and assume that is what atheism represents.
If I were to form my opinion of what Christian values represented from reading your posts alone, I would assume them to be prejudiced, small minded, judgmental, morose, bitter, hateful, derogatory, and mean.

Good thing I recognize that you don't represent anything like Christianity.
You should get back to church Jeffbase and find out what Christian values really are.
Oh damn!!! Now you'll start him crying again!!!

Her weight is entirely irrelevant but I agree she's setting a hideous example.

Spewing hate and misinformation IS filthy and in my Christian daze I would have felt sullied by association, witnessing this woman's invective.

He's already stated that he can identify atheists by their behavior. 100% of the ones he's encountered are nasty.

Which belies the accuracy of the criteria he's using to "identify" atheists. Either that or his definition of "nasty". In all honesty I think it's mostly the latter. "Nasty" is not the impartation of unwelcome information or making Jeff uncomfortable. "Nasty" is not an accurate analysis of the facts of a situation that just happens not to completely flatter or support Jeff's beliefs. "Nasty" is not a critique of Jeff's beliefs.

What "nasty" looks like is an attack on Jeff's personhood, worthiness or character, or some form of demonizing him. Which I have yet to see happen. But Jeff can't tell the difference because he thinks he is his beliefs. Question or point out inconvenient facts about his god, or his beliefs about god, and it's personal. And it's not questioning or pointing out, but an attack. And it's not just any attack, it is an attack that amounts to an existential threat, and rapidly broadens in scope to all his fellow believers and speaks to their impending imprisonment and persecution and dark conspiracies to those ends.

All of which is ultimately an elaborate deflection to relieve Jeff of any obligation to consider evidence or logical argument presented if it in any way might not completely support and encourage his faith.

It is, in short, the inner workings of the "FundAShield"(tm).

I paint atheists all with the same brush because 100% of the time, they are rude, insulting, dishonest, arrogant, condescending and nasty to me. And guess what, you are holding up the stereotype as well.
If my posts displease you so much, don't READ THEM. Is that really so hard?

Oh I see, it's perfectly fine to say mean and insulting things about me directly? That's being a hypocrite. I've said many times, if you want to change my perspective, it's quite easy. Be nice. Be friendly. Learn to respectfully disagree.

And how do you know what represents true Christianity? What do you think was the intent of the OP?

Besides being wrong about this being a private speaking of beliefs, I'm just curious.

If an atheist went through say, Hobby Lobby (owned by the Green family who are devout Christians) what would you be saying? Would you be defending their right to do so?

Would you be saying "people have a right to protest and boycott Hobby Lobby even if they are vocal about it?"

Or would you have the YouTube up on this forum talking about how this rotten obnoxious atheist (who is of course, like all atheists) shouldn't have the right to go into a store and behave that way.

Rest assured, all of the rest of us know the answer to that question.
