Just because a plant can't look cute and sad doesn't mean it isn't the same mechanism: killing and consuming. Literally killing something, then stuffing that dead thing into your mouth and swallowing it. Whether or not it used to moo, it had to die and get churned in stomach acid in order for you to not be in the ground yourself.

This is the best your all-loving, capable of literally anything - anything (including maybe not needing to eat at all? It's God, remember, with every aspect of creation in every detail at its fingertips, with NO limits?) - could come up with? We MUST kill to live? We don't kill, we don't live? (Even in the Garden of Eden before the fall?)

No. It's pretty clearly a scientific development/condition of being, not a magically/celestily mandated one unless that celestial being is literally bloodthirsty and unhinged.
The God of the Bible is an absolute idiot if it exists. Of course, Christians will make every excuse in the book to believe in it.

So do you want to be God? Can you do better?

If you're talking about the OT god, a banana could do better.

Critics of God's animal connection are simply ignorant that don't get a number of things not withstanding the following:

We as Gods human creation have dominion over the entire animal kingdom

God created many animals as companions ,blessings , therapy, and unconditional love

Animals have been earmarked as sacrifices ( to sacrifice is not easy ,but a sign of obedience, and faith)
God expected the sacrifices to be from the best of the lot!!! Never a sickly animal.

Animals ( many forms) were created to provide food for sustainability, enjoyment and sport

Animals were meant to be treated with care and even love in return for their being often a provision

The flesh of animals is different than humans ( generally one additional chromosome)

When judgment is in order via disobedience God often leverages off animals to carry disease even
death

Mankind who mistreats animals via abuse and torture will be at the judgment seat of God one day
to qualify their actions......extremely terrifying outcomes.

Note: As a former hunter I personally draw the line on methods .. I 'am firmly against trapping, bow hunting ( too many poor shots causing painful deaths) unless survival makes either essential.

Bible God drowned millions of animals. That IS the very definition of animal abuse. He should put himself on trial and be found guilty. End of story. You make excuses for Bible God.
