What are people's thought? Yes or No is enough if one doesn't want to say more.
Have a nice day anyway
I'm not sure what spiritual means, here. In some ways, society seems less interested in the arts and cultures, bu on the other hand, I see signs that the bod in the street is more knowing and more understanding than the nine to fiver with the pub and TV and not much else, that I recall from my younger days.

Which goes to show we live in a spiritually bankrupt world. Not only the literally starving children but refugees seeking better lives, children bereft of parents that war causes and displaces them.
Its a sign of the last days. Literal food shortage-famine was proof of this.
Thanks for the comments everyone.

Famines have been a feature of life throughout human history. So have wars and orphans and refugees.

But the fact remains that a denizen of the 21st century is less likely to die from war or violent crime or starvation than ever before, if you actually look at actual numbers rather than simply making subjective comparisons between how aware you are now versus when you were younger or how things seem today because of the news cycles vs how you and others romanticize the past.

And even if that confirmation bias weren't in play, you haven't shown a relationship between any actual rise in catastrophe, and the very subjective consideration of being spiritually (un)bankrupt.
