No, and for that reason there was no reason to request or promise a tax exemption.

Can you play baseball, football, or stage a play in the Ark Encounter?

Yeah, you could stage a play in there. Peace

Whether it was built by a ministry is 100% irrelevant. It isn't a ministry, it is a theme park. If a Baptist church were to build a water park, it wouldn't be a ministry.

If those things were tax exempt, you better believe I would condemn it. Fact is, they are not tax exempt unless they are run by the state.

The status of it as either tax exempt or not, has really not been my focus here, only that is serves a purpose and I enjoyed it and recommend it to any like-minded individuals. I personally think it is a ministry, but there would have to be a consensus on what constitutes a ministry spelled out plainly before any law(s) should have applied to any tax exempt, IMO, which clearly was not done well, else we wouldn't have the church of Satan or Scientology as non-profits to begin with. That it is a difficult task to determine fairly, is obvious.

So we're left with everyone's opinion based on their feelings about it. You got one, I got one, that's about all that can be said, really. Peace

Ticket sales suggest otherwise. But hey, don't let facts disrupt your delusion.

Well, whether or not it is a ministry should be pretty clear, Rbbi1. Is it for profit? Then it is not a ministry, it is a business.

I don't think there is anything more staged or like a play that could be put in, that isn't already there.

Why no response to my last couple of posts to you fundie? Are you sure you aren't the country preacher in disguise?
