I am home for the summer. Let me know next time you are driving up 56. They are usually only open on the weekends when the train comes, unlike our historical society's real museums, which are open 6 days a week, except for Mondays.

Ah yes, Tyson, that ignoramus charlatan and his global contingent of dastardly scientists making things up willy nilly to convince people to hate gods.

It's well-documented that he has lied. I'd encoururage you to google it.

I suggest, since it was not I making the claim, you support the claim with evidence. That's how the actual exchanges in an argument take place among reasonable people.

But I'm curious: what did he allegedly lie about, and how might it call science into question?

Well, look at it this way, they were only 8 last time!

It's no wonder that you are very confused and don't possess the ability to follow a discussion.

I popped into this thread and read the last page and there you were making ignorant statements about Evolution. Post #114

I stepped in and corrected you. You then came back with your typical childish behavior and not only accused me of derailing the thread with Evolution but went on your typical ignorant rant about Evolution.

Now do you understand why I said you brought it up first in our exchange in this thread?

I expect nothing more than a very infantile response from you.

Actually, 4,000 on the first day IS pretty significant. It's a lot more than I ever thought would be there. And to be honest, I don't even care how many were there nor how many in the future will be there.

Even if it was VIP or media driven, it's still a lot of people IMO. Maybe it's because I am now living in a rural area. The nearest LARGE town is 5000 people, and given what I know about them, I would say fully 1/2 would probably visit this Ark theme park or dogma park, whatever it's called. Of course, all the locals would have to bring their Trump signs and their right to carry and their Obama-hating signs.

If I were to argue about the plausibility of the actual biblical event, I would interject humor.

or

All humor aside, I worked at a Natural History Museum for a short period and the collection of fauna from our planets history is mind boggling. Even the megafauna that was present 80,000 years to 15,000 years BP is pretty significant.

I view the Ark and many stories from the Old Testament the same way I view the legends of my tribal folklore, myths, and traditional creation stories. Except the Bible stories come from Jewish tribal beliefs, folklore, myths, etc.
