If you want the Holy Spirit to come and STAY inside you, repent of your sins, turn from them and follow Jesus and read and believe what He says. Do this and Jesus promised to send His Fathers Spirit to come and make you a New Creature in THEM (your Spirit is re-born with They're Spirit).
Why would anyone not want to be apart of Them? To know Them? To Love Them.
...To tell others about Them. To grow with Them. Why in the world wouldn't you? Why do you spend the days doing what you can to discredit Them and their words?
Spread the "good news". Spread His Son's Hope. Tell of His Ways. Speak His Truths. Live Life like He would have it, not like you would have it.
You two reminded me of something else that happened around the time all of this was going on. For about a week straight every morning I would wake up laughing. One of those mornings I had the sense that someone had been sitting next to me while I slept and was telling me funny stories. They told me they had to go because I was about to wake up. Then I woke up.

I'm glad you had this sense, because I have had the same sense when Jesus visited me. There's no mistaking him. Jesus Rocks! Same with God. He has a huge energy field that I could actually see with my soul perceptions, as He was right next to me on my left side. God is pure Awesomeness! And then, of course, when God gives the command for His Holy Spirit to go do it's work... there's no mistaking it either...whoosh, here comes Divine Love into our souls!

That is so cool. I'm not surprised; laughter is medicine to the soul. I've woke up at least once, with a joke being told to me, laughing. I remembered the joke at the time, but have since forgotten it. I definitely needed a good laugh then, and He supplied it. Like I said, He is whatever we need Him to be (He actually spoke this to a friend of mine who asked Him what name she should call Him). Peace
