celibacy, an adherence that is practiced by many religions, faiths and spiritualities, is also adhered socially for personal or societal reasons.

as a celibacy adherer, i was curious if there were others who adhered not only socially, but also adhered spiritually or religiously.

what is your general view celibacy?

Imo, it is foolish to adhere to it under religious compulsion. Those who do it willingly, more power to them. There is no doubt that sex is an activity that comes with much responsibility.

My view is that ...
1. You don't know what you are missing.
2. you need to get out more.

It looks to me to be not only against nature and against Biblical teachings, but against what is good for humanity. Of course, if people what to be celibate, that's their choice. Our gene pool can manage very well without their input.

well, you must understand that there may be other worldly or societally factors that may influence this. of course, it would be quite ignorant if i generalized all milennials as abstinent, intermittant celibate or fully celibate.

who knows

I would rather be dead than be celibate.
