According to the writers of Genesis some sort of benevolent super being created a wonderful and awesome universe that is a great place to live and its inhabitants should be grateful for it.

I believe that that may indeed be true but the writers of Genesis left out one important detail. They left out the fact that you and I dont live in that universe. We live a very different universe with floods and hurricanes and animals eating each other.

It is neither. It is half sweet and half bitter and if you want to drink it then knock yourself out.

Do you agree with the conclusion of some modern theologians that the Garden of Eden represented Solomon's temple? Otherwise known as the first temple.

The Universe (ALL Reality) IS God.
The Bible is a metaphorical and allegorical story about God and that which comprises God.

Haha. Well, it's true we have some "imperfections" here. But how much fun would it be to live in one of those perfect universes?
