Sorry to mix a metaphor with the animal post. But I was just mentioning the ostrich as a joke (a poor one I admit). Never mind what I said about the ostrich.

You guys are probably right. It was just a dumb fleeting thought.

Faith is not imaginary, it's just mindbogglingly stupid. To decide that something is true by using a method that can be proven to be the most unreliable way of arriving at what is true is indeed, too dumb for words!

So you guys can continue to call faith imaginary but if even a "dumb" animal knows the truth, where does that leave you? Is the response of an animal something to be disregarded because it's not an "intellectual" being? Is that really not something that you can consider to be scientific in some fashion?

But there are also smart animals I suppose, like the ostrich who hides it's head in the earth.
hey, trans' posts do that when his militant atheism is challenged. He hides.

animals don't know the truth.

When people say that animals have a special relationship with the earth I know right away they are ruled by their emotions.

all animals (well, over 90%) animals exploit their environment until something stops them, they used up all the resources, or they poop themselves into extinction.

Ozzy, listen to people's advice. Think things over before you start threads. This has been suggested to you by several people over a long period of time, yet the outcome seldom changes.

"Dumb fleeting thoughts" may not be the best way to start discussions.

don't worry about it, Ozzy, mate. We never mind about anything you say, these days. I remember the early days, when I thought of you as a seriously significant poster.

Well done, you have signalled again to the browsers that you lose no opportunity to snipe at the opposition. Well I sniped first. But I sniped straight. You fired wide and the browsers will notice that.

How many times must they wonder...'I thought the atheists were the guys without morals? But they are honest and the Bible -bods are not. All the time'.

Aw, thanks, buddy, xo, but--and not many would see them cuz they would be in
the 'Unexplained.. " area for the weirdos.
Naw - I'd just be showin' off---my stories are so unbelievable - I mean, really, just 'too too much'.

My friends have gotten used to them --mainly cuz they have seen too many things with me ---
that now they believe everything I tell 'em.

To stay a drop on topic - the Power of Belief is phenomenal, our minds are...it doesn't amaze me anymore.

I thought that the subject brought up regarding Depressive Realism made a lot of sense.
