and so then
no time = no change.
because change is dependent upon time, is a function of time.

Are so saying there is no such thing as time? I could agree on the way we look at time may be illusory but what reasoning are you using to say it doesn't even exist?

All you need in order to understand that time is real is annual peeks into a mirror.

For the past few years, my father has shown up in mine. But then I take a closer look and yeah, it's moi.

We exist only in the present. We cannot go back to the last five minutes to do a redo. nor can we step into the next five minutes. all we have is the present and now. that is the only truth of our existence.

I don't disagree. TZ was saying there is something that never changes and I asked her how she knew that. Have you encountered something that never changes? If so how did you know it never changes?

LOL. I take after my dad's side so I went straight to looking like my grandma.

Is time a thing? Do we encounter it? yet we have a concept of time, of past, of future. are they all real? Things and concepts.

I like JAG's analogy of the finger-pointing to the thing. I like to listen to people who would point the way but have no use for people who want to tell me what I should find when I get there. It's rude and I think it defeats the whole purpose of the exercise.

I am sorry you felt someone is being rude to you.
