I have often thought he likes pleasing himself.

And, yes...The Bible is the most epic and prolific Book in human history...that truth getting some all tweaked-out notwithstanding.
Thanks for the amusement it gave me to see those that present at double to 4or5X my rate whining about me "going on" and/or "repeating myself". Really great!!

Bottom Line...I hold a Theological Belief. This is a forum noted as being "About Belief".
Isn't it strange that many of those that claim to "Lack Belief" go on and on more than the Believers, but complain that Believers keep repeating their views?
And THAT is what's so entertaining about this place!
Another one last throw before I go...

It isn't the "truth" you are sharing that causes the tweaking but the base repetition as if what you think is the truth is necessarily so. Obviously it is not, and your rationale is epicly circular at best. None of which allows the light of day logic or reason to penetrate. Was just waiting for another comment about post count too! Was a bit amusing there at the start, but now it's just more base repetition that could put a junkie high on meth to sleep.

Bottom line, it's not all the different beliefs we all hold near and dear, or number of posts, but...

Right. About all this too we will judge as we will. What has value to some is garbage to others. Nothing new about any of this as I am reminded it is now past time for me to move onto other things. Here's to more value and less base repetition going forward in any case. Right again. Maybe this comment belongs in the thread about miracles and whether they actually do happen. Can happen. Here's hoping...

Cheers!

I never said you didn't...or that it wasn't.
I just noted that that "many of those that claim to 'Lack Belief' go on and on more than the Believers, but complain that Believers keep repeating their views".
I guess I should add...some that prolifically proffer their Beliefs, that then complain about others offering their differing Beliefs @ a quarter of the rate, is also a hoot.

Your complaints are hardly at a quarter of the rate. You make the same basic complaint multiple times every single day. And you know perfectly well that you are just stirring the pot rather than adding any substance. The person most impressed with you is yourself.

Nope, something does not have to be true to be useful - goes back to Plato.

In politics, a noble lie is a myth or untruth typically of religious nature, knowingly propagated by an elite to maintain social harmony or advance an agenda. The noble lie is a concept originated by Plato as described in The Republic. See Wiki!

Some, though, are not Noble!

I stopped the post count stuff...after the new "Sticky" about it. I assume there were people crying to Mommy...so, it appeared. I actually cracked up when I saw it.
YOU were the one that complained about me "repeating yet again in these threads" and "going on & round and round again", etc. While you "go on" 4X as much as I do!
Thanx for more entertainment...really great.

Right!
If ones lies about "Does this outfit make me look fat?"...and says, "No".
It may not be true...but it sure is useful!

Absolutely, from little issues like this all the way up to whole systems of thought- political or otherwise. I believe there was a book about the evolutionary basis for lying. Can't remember what the title of it was though.

What you say here is not true...but you hope it is useful.
Bottom Line: We have both been here the same amount of time. Check it out...numbers don't lie. I'm less than a quarter of your rate.
That's all true...and I can prove it.
I post about my Pantheist Belief...the great Philosophy that can be gleaned from Theological writings...and my acceptance of all Theistic views. I also post in defense of all that against those who bash, insult, and mock those Beliefs, Writings, Philosophies, and those that embrace them.

You're just stirring the pot for fun, and you have admitted that multiple times.
