Two Jehovah’s Witnesses have been arrested in Russia as suspected serial killers who claim they went on a nine-month killing spree to “cleanse the world of sinners,” the Daily Mail newspaper reported on Thursday.
Vladimir Gurianov, 44, and Elvira Egorycheva, 46, are accused of killing 13 people while claming to be on a mission from God.
Oh my goodness!! They were obviously two mentally ill, criminally insane people. I think it had less to do with their religious affiliation (if they were indeed JW's) and more to do with their insanity.

LOL! I'm sorry..I'm not laughing at the fact that people died but since when does meeting at a 'Jehovah's Witness' meeting qualify as you as a 'Jehovah's Witness'? They met once at a Kingdom Hall and then again 16 years later , went on a killing spree.
Not to speculate too much here, but I'd be surprised to learn that they were in regular attendance at those meetings during their 16 years apart. If so, they were probably a little more intuned to the voices in their heads than the information being presented from the platform.
Listen up... in the very least the Jehovah's Witnesses have the same rate of succumbing to the lust of the 7 deadly sins as any other religion or group.
The very inception of JWs was based on hate. They hate the world, they hate other religions, they hate everything about "this system of things."
The Jehovah's Witnesses definitely have a problem with other religions---especially the largest one (Catholic Church) had been either an intentional or unintentional target over the years. I will venture to say intentional since it occurs repeatedly over time.
The 'world' is of course another problem as they tend to isolate from the world. Kids are not even encouraged to associate with "wordly" kids. I still remember an elder giving a talk saying how the nice kid down the street may seem nice, but if he/she is not a Jehovah's Witness, then they would not be a good choice of the type of person to associate with.
That is quite irrational in reality. The people I have met outside the Witnesses are as good if not better than any I met while in the congregaton.
And 'this system of things' is another doctrine change (again).

Many of the teachings of JW's distort the word of God. Indeed, they are not afraid to alter a few words here and there to 'fit in' with their version of the 'truth'. And we all know what the finale of the Book of Revelations has to say about that.
One thing I would like to research but haven't had the time is the New World Translation's accuracy and whether it would even be considered in the top 50 percent of accuracy compared with other versions.
So far all I can do is say that I have heard from others who have had the time to do the research that it is quite inaccurate and more or less fits the governing body's view of things. (no huge surprise).
As far as the book of Revelation---that one is difficult for any jw or exjw to grasp I have a feeling. I had a hard time with it.
My views have slowly changed over the years since I've left the organization though and I am not nearly as much a theist these days. I am I guess agnostic (undecided) about the bible and god and many things.
Okay, for starters, i am Jehovah Witness and proud to be one. Jehovah Witness do not hate other religions, but we know what's the truth, and we don't look down on nobody. No body is perferct, i am sure us as Jehovah Witness has made mistakes before, we sin, and some probably still do. We ask Jehovah God for forgiviness, and prays he does. Now, here is some history for you. The Jehovah Witness bible was the oldest bible ever found written, way before the church bible. Someone just recopied the words and switched it and published the church bible. I am a 16 year old girl and let me tell you, its not easy being a Jehovah Witness when your little. You don't really understand much you miss out on alot of stuff, but at the end its all worth it. When i was real young, like about 12 or 10 i would see the other kids having christmas parties, and holloween parties, easter parties, Valentine day parties, and i had to be escorted out of the room, into another room all by myself. I cried, because i didn't understand, now that i am a sophmore in highschool, i have plently of friends. None of my friends are Jehovah Witness, and you know i do normal things. Movies, dances, parties, i date (secretly). I shouldn't but i do. I still really don't understand it all, but if i keep Jehovah close to me in my heart, i know one day he will make me understand. I love Jehovah, and to here people say that Jehovah Witness, don't believe in God, or Jesus Christ, i laugh and sometimes feel sorry for them, because its a lie! we do believe in God, Jehovah God, and we also believe in jesus. We don't celebrate any holiday (what so ever). We don't even celebrate our brithdays. Its hard, but its will worth it as i keep saying. Armagadon is comming,and when Jehovah, and Jesus Christ come on earth they all the bad people will be destroyed off earth. Killers, Gays, Fornicaters. My word of advice to you is if you are doing any of this stuff...STOP. Killers? well they will definitly be destroyed. Gays,lesbeians,bisexuals, they can always change, and start studing the book of God. Fornicaters, they can always STOP oral sex and get into the book of God. There is still time left. We don't really know when armagadon is comming but people predict, it will be soon. You probably here that the world wasn't prepared for a 2009 or you might here that armagadon is comming next year, or some, might have heard that the calenders stop at 2012 or the internet will no longer be in 2010. We don't know, and i say don't predict, just be aware that Jehovah and his angels are comming soon. Judgement day is COMMING! I don't want noone to die, i love everyone. Please don't think bad about Jehovah witness, we are really good people, just like you (but better). You can be like us, we can help each other, in satan's world. The bible says a muslim will rule the world, and the world will suddenly get better, and when it does, he will be here. Look, we have a black president about to get in the chair. Even though i am a Jehovah Witness, and we are not supposed to get in politcal stuff, but i love Obama, and i really admire what he is doing. Before obama got picked as president, i didn't care about other political stuff. The world needs change, ( i do agree) and when Jehovah comes, change will be. I am not writing this to scare anyone, but i just want you to know, that there is still time.Don't let others pull you in to do something wrong, we all have the strength to change,we all can change, and make a change (just ask Obama).
