Right ego is what gives you idividuality which is a good thing and perhaps is the reason god created existance, but it also blinds the soul, emerses the body in matierialistic needs and wants, breeds ignorance and hate, and worst of all causes us to forget we are one

Not all egos have these failings.
Most do.
The beauty of being human is that we are not as you say, one.
We are all gloriously unique.
This does not mean that we cannot all find the right God to follow.
You don't understand my words brother, so for the sake of not being missunderstood I'll try my best to explain. The universe is the physical manifestation of god. It is made up of matter and energy. The energy controlls the matter. Our consiousness is apart of that energy. Therefor we are individual incarnations of god. Because we are individual and not fully connected we tend to feel we are on the world not apart of it, we claim objects and ideas are owned, and we feel our ideas culture ect. must be supierior to others. There is no right god to follow only different perceptions of the same god created by different egos. If you can break your ego down if only for a second you'll realize everything is connected, we are the world, and everything is one

and ego is NEVER a good thing, it only gets in the way and impedes our progress
when we are able to drop ego completely then we are able to let our divine radiance shine through and run our lives wholly and completely. that is the goal. that is what enlightenment of every culture has taught
bottom line is WE ARE ONE. no way around that. it is a good thing. when we understand that and when we live move breathe and have our very being centered in that, well life improves and the world improves

yes, but what's rarely expressed is enlightenment is being able to tap into the collective consiousness with 100% of your being. If you do that you can fully realize the power of your devine entity. But, since not a lot of people have fully achieved this and it is a collected consiousnes it isn't complete. The main goal is for everyone to individually reach enlightenment, because we can't live in heaven while they live in hell.
