For the record, I didn't post the poll. A moderator posted the poll. I just wondered what we all were since everyone has such different beliefs!

(Pssst! Ms.Charlotte! Lots of my friends growing up were Methodists! )
You seem to know so much about religion. Why can't you tell ( My religion)
by my beliefs.
Not a rude comment honest question ?

I am a non-denominational Christian which means the church I was raised in could potentially have brainwashed each of its members without any sort of oversight .
Not that organized religion isn't a general practice of brainwashing, but that's for another day.

P.S. I chose other.

In reality, most of these listings are denominations of specific religions. Christianity, Islam, Judiasm, Hinduism--these are religions. Baptist, methodist, protestant, etc, are all just denominations of the same faith. BTW--was there reason that Islam and Hinduism were not listed?

It almost sounds like Catholic, except for the rapture part...

Some type of Catholic? Armenian Catholic? I honestly don't know.

I didn't create the poll. A moderator thought it would be "helpful" and I didn't feel like arguing with him. (It seems like 1/2 the people were one thing and are now another -- so the poll didn't make a lot of sense to me. He said he got the list out of Wikipedia. )

Everybody has posted interesting things however! There's a pretty big variety here!

We are Lutheran, and have our own beliefs, we tend to keep our opinions to ourselves, but we are believers. Thanks for asking.

raised southern baptist. define myself now as a pentecostal christian (AG), but wouldn't have any problem attending a baptist church. in fact i believe baptist is considered a part of pentecost like AG.
