An archaeologist (Richard Andrews) and an engineer (Paul Schellenberger) collaborated on a book titled The Tomb of God (1996, Little, Brown). According to these two gentleman, the actual, literal tomb of Jesus is located in an earthen mound located in the south of France. And they provide "clues"--even going to the extent of creating a history--that will certainly leave you in a daze in support of their theory. Conveniently enough, they claim that the French Government knows about this, and will stop at nothing to A) keep the curious from discovering the precise site, and B) deny it altogether.
It's a fascinating book to read. Virtually impossible to believe, but fascinating all the same.

Here is a nice little video (Appox. 30 min.) on why the Jesus Tomb is not related to Jesus the Christ. It is interspersed with clips from Cameron's film.
