The diagram reminds me of the first time I played a slot machine. Jesus Christ would be the Jackpot, the man who is the ultimate success of his society and time. But the vampire, or the stiff ignored failure, or the fool of accepting the other man's notion of life is what we get after we improve our chances with salvation.
