God is on their side because they have accepted Christ Jesus as their personal Lord and savior. They can start a war if it is just, or they are defending a nation, as God called David to do and others in the bible when threatened by enemies of Gods people who seek to destroy Israel, or attack innocent people or terrorists
I am not judging, but reporting "what I think" not "what I know."
I didn't say you were judging; I realize it's what you think. What any of us think doesn't matter; it's what God knows, and He's in control. I'm just trying to say for you not to worry about it.
I'm not worried about it, but sure concerned with war!
Thanks for looking out for me!

Does that mean that the war is in God's hands, that man has no control over the outcome of the war?
Has Bush ever verbalized his manifest destiny? Does he support ideas like "The Rapture"?
I have known some Christians who have outright told me Catholic is not Christian -What do they mean by that?

I once heard someone say that God is not in control, but He is in charge. That's how I view it. If he were in complete control then man would not have free will (which we do). But he is ultimately in charge. The Bible says he knows every hair on our head.
And since GWB is a Bible believing Christian I would assume he does believe in the rapture.
I would be weary of any U.S. president or presidential candidate willing to go to war for religious purposes, because this isn't a one religion country nor a theocracy. It's kind of a shame that there isn't more representation for religious minorities in America, let alone that GWB (and I'm certain others before him) uses his office to proclaim "God Bless America" and other religion-specific rhetoric.
Don't get me wrong, it's great that GWB follows a religion and belief system in his personal life, but I don't think that the State of the Union address and other official speeches and appearances are the apropriate locales to insert his religious ideology.
I am not sure I understood other posts. Re; Iraq- someone mentioned Bush has no worries as he is Christian.
Does this by default mean that anytime we have a Christian president, they do not have to be questioned-i.e. God is on their side?
Can you find me a link where Bush claims to be a christian or where he specifies his beliefs around christianity? I assume from your post you have concluded he is a christian believer.
