I guess it's surprise, surprise!!

But the issue is:

can, or even could these deeply devout lovers and fighters take into heart the laws for trust in any ordinary community of misfits and empty bafoons, the community of people who really, in the first place, assume the sceptical DOUBT at Trust?

Why would that kind of speculation be unfair? There is no longer any benefit to be got for presuming that, for that all that was witnessed in Baghdad, there really is any convincing way that their religion can include the broad Will that our democracy should develop onto Justice.

No Justice, no Peace. The justice is for the existing infidel, as much as the creating called upon Faithful.

Well, since I don't believe in gods, I don't believe in any "law of god" and thus the answer to your question would be no, they aren't affected by it.

QUOTE:

"I the LORD do all these things."

You don't believe in the evidence of what was written, and how it applies to ordinary Life experience?

Got' ya!

The bible, the Koran, the Torah, and all the other "holy" books of men were written by men, not gods. The books themselves cannot be proof of their own validity. That's like saying that simply because Harry Potter books exist, that the world of Harry Potter is real and exists. Men are fallible, and as such their works of literature are also fallible.

No, you didn't. Until you can give factual proof that your god exists, and prove that he actually wrote your religious texts, and prove that all the other gods that humans believe in do NOT exist, then there is no discussion, and no "gotcha".

Dear Merc Crug.

I finally recollected the fine elements for Duty to concern in the defendants on trial to refer to in the Conscience, theirs OR even ours. The problem is the bifurcation of Duty for the ethics of ordinary citizens. To get out of the bifurcation and realize there is NO REASON for anyone to, as it were, crack. In a courtroom in the middle of examination of the evidence and wishing to get at the honest wills in the witnesses as opposed to the truth of what happened, there is a GOD"s will also involved; the duty to country appears on the values of justice as one perceives That; the duty to God appears by the compassion of how and what that person believes, and the only his own pure self-deception he can perpetrate. Duty to God may be works of retribution as well, later.

In America we believe in rehabilitation of those found guilty, generally anyway.

The laws of God are written, enforced, prosecuted, and executed by fanatics.
