I guess my agenda here is to try to counter a lot of frankly unworthy objections by theists towards anything to be considered to be the 'opposition'. Whether it's claims for the historical validity of the gospels or the factuality of Genesis, I want to show that the 'other side' has better arguments. I'm teed off at an endless line of theist websites parrotting the same old McDowell stuff and getting away with it.

I'm an atheist but I'm here for pretty much the same reason as you, except I'd add boredom to the list.

Actually I poke the rattlesnakes just as much over there, and it is almost as entertaining.

Discovered the forum sections by accident while researching of all things...data on cities.

I check out quite a few of the different forums but do not participate as often as I would like as I find that I have trouble articulating my thoughts well.

I probably inject humor (at least what I think is humor) into my posts more often than I should but I suppose that is because I see C-D more as entertainment than anything. I have gleaned some knowledge from the more intelligent responses and there have been many thought-provoking threads but by and large I don't take many of the postings seriously.

By far the best entertainment value is the Politics forum (clash of the morons) and the Relationship forum (gets kinda juicy at times).

I discovered this while I was trying to figure out if it would be financially feasible to attend law school in Hawaii (still a possibility, though not a likely one). Then I discovered both the Politics and Religion forums and have found it to be highly entertaining ever since.
