And really, why would a loving God kill innocent life, including children, in a "judgment?"

At least he is quite acrobatic for a guy his age, obviously

Maybe it is too boring and down-to-earth for you, but plate tectonics provide a pretty good explanation for the quake.
My words are much different than Pat's.

Is it beyond our understanding to know that our actions can effect plate techtonics?

Vibrational energy can and does effect the Earth... from nuke tests, to the sins of man. Compounded energies. Like a pebble in a pond, the rings go out.

I read the Haitian revolution began in 1791, prior to Napoleon's occupation.

And this was the Haitian "deal with the devil"

"The god who created the earth; who created the sun that gives us light. The god who holds up the ocean; who makes the thunder roar. Our God who has ears to hear. You who are hidden in the clouds; who watch us from where you are. You see all that the white has made us suffer. The white man’s god asks him to commit crimes. But the god within us wants to do good. Our god, who is so good, so just, He orders us to revenge our wrongs. It’s He who will direct our arms and bring us the victory. It’s He who will assist us. We all should throw away the image of the white men’s god who is so pitiless. Listen to the voice for liberty that speaks in all our hearts."

Robertson is not only a false prophet, he's a poor historian.

What happened in Haiti is not by the hand of God. It happened because of the natural workings of the earth. If you studied science, you would know that.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Sorry, but to me that is esoteric / religious gibberish. Haiti specifically lies at the border between two tectonic plates and is thus prone to such events. There were quakes long before the first humans arrived on the island. So who did your god punish back then? Birds for singing off-key?
I can understand that people are looking for answers whenever such tragedies occur. But why ignore the sound scientific explanations and interpret something unreasonable into it?

You obviously don't know my God, so i won't try to explain the workings of sin and its power to destroy lives.
