God's system is what we are experiencing, so clearly His hand is on everything. It's His creation, His design.
It is up to us to discern the why's and wherefore's.

Yes, He created the world. He put His children on the earth to experience. He also gave us FREE WILL. God will not even take that away.
Our free will determines our outcome. Our choices, not God, determines what the next step in our journey will be. Whole nations are not judged by God but the individual is. Maybe negative energy had a part but it wasn't God as He is not negative. It would then be mans doing.
You make God sound like He's some evil warlord. He isn't. He has no evil in Him. He is absolute, pure Divine love. That is His make up. He cannot commit any act that violates His own Laws.
I hope this thread can stay open and I hope the debate stays on the subject and not divert to individuals. I like the fact that ignorance and idiocy can be checked with common sense and reason than for it to run wild and infect others. For example, this came from Facebook from my cousin's page:
"I'm sure this is a touchy subject at the moment, and I don't know if I disagree with Robertson. I believe Haiti is a modern day Babylon. How is it they share Hispanola with the Dominican Republic and not the same natural tragedies? Nevertheless, I am praying for Haiti and its people."
Sometimes such foolish thinking has to be checked AT the door but I am almost sure someone will be reporting the thread to a mod because their feelings got hurt. I just hope it stays opened so nonsense like this can be beaten down hard and often.
People like Robertson are the first who will go to hell, should there be one. They speak in the name of god which is blasphemy.
