Obviously, religion tries to fit itself into the role "explaining things". But, how good is it? Religion only got one generic answer to all the unanswered: "God did it".

You may test your God now -- there is 100% certainty your God will do nothing for you:
Make a wish, say a prayer to your God, and see if your God will make it happen.
That shows "praying" is quite a lunatic act.
LOL
i'm laughing out loud
my experience is the opposite... all my wealth, success, happiness, peace of mind, and advancement in life are a result of prayer.
god ALWAYS comes through for me.
my idea of lunacy is to cut myself off from god. that is sheer madness. why would i cut myself off from my life force and try to do it on my own? ROFL. That's like trying to push a car uphill, instead of getting in the car and turning on the ignition.
How the hell can that be since it is only a name change? Unless of course you can tell me what"Nature" actually IS that is doing these things?
Have we scientifically discerned the essence of this mysterious thing you "take for granted" because it "Just is?"
