Just expressing some relief! Blue skies! I know the fires are still going but hopefully the air will be clear(er) from this point forward.

Yes!
I was telling myself it was just fog to stay calm as I was feeling claustrophobic for a few days there. I was awe-struck by the Sierra mountains all over again after not seeing them for so long!
I traveled a lot in September and it was smoky in Boise and even really bad in Wyoming and Montana at times, but N NV had the worst air quality of all.
We are so fortunate that we just had the smoke and not the fires CA and OR are experiencing.

Just got back from a 5 day trip to Oregon. I can't believe the extent of the fire damage I saw through Northern Nevada, California and Oregon. And I didn't even see the areas in Marion and Clackamas Counties (west and northwest of Salem) when I was up there. Just shocking.

Default Air Quality

I have a website that gives the air quality for any city/area in the U.S.. I found it to be quite accurate. The lower the number, the better the air quality...

https://www.airnow.gov/

Just enter you zip code, city, or state and it will display the AQ number on a circular chart. We live in Fallon and many times our AQ number is in the single digits which is one of the reasons we love it here.
