That makes no sense! Y send u one of those letters. I completely agree, I think housing just tells us anything, the computers does all the work, unfortunately, like everything now a days. Your app probably been at the development since earlier this month.

I believe it has been at the develop as well i sent my listing back in the beginning of dec and y would housing let it sit there for almost 2 months when everything was completed. I called housing several times and always got a different story as to were my application was. It probably was there since earlier this month or maybe even earlier as the computer goes off of the info it is given and the date on the letter shows the proof. They tell us what we want to hear so they can get us off the phone. lets just hope the COMPUTER picks our names fast. I read somewhere a lady was called a week after her application was sent to the development so there is hope, A friend of mine also got called pretty quick as well. when I called the development I was informed that there were a lot of people ahead of me..If the computer generates the selection there is no way to tell who is up next correct? so why feed me this false info.

That's true you're right. If the computer selects applicants randomly there's no way to know who is ahead of you. That's just bull ish.

I believe it's because there is a Working Family and Need Based priority.

On the recent letter from bayview it only said N-4. what's yours?

Hey guys this how they select people for NYCHA hope it helps I just sent my development selection back to NYCHA via certified mail. I chose Ingersoll http://www.nyc.gov/html/nycha/downloads/pdf/TSAPlan.pdf
