Carpet 8-10 years
Tile hardwood laminates really no end. They usually get replaced due to damage or out of favor.
Linoleum I’m not sure. But it yellows and cracks. I personally hate linoleum and won’t use it.

You equated laminate products with actual hardwood floors.
That sort of error is how this whole mess started.

I would say wear and tear. Unless you had something on them that was not a normal piece of furniture.

Laminate "hardwood" flooring is garbage. I cringe when I see rental or sale listings of homes that say "hardwood flooring throughout!" and see that it's that crap.

We installed it in our house out of pure ignorance and cheapness and regretted it within months and hated it within four years.

I'd rather see sheet vinyl in a "hardwood" print -- particularly in rentals -- than laminate, even though it's cheap crap, too.
