Eh. What I see, as someone that willingly lends 250-450K of my property to someone else, in exchange for maybe 1% of that amount in return per month, is this.
You don’t care about rules unless “they” catch you.
It’s ok to justify, based on your own ethics.
Herd mentality- “nobody really cares”

As for the rest of it, if you don’t see it. It doesn’t matter. Just know that you’ve ****ed it up for people after you - but you don’t care, because it doesn’t impact anyone, right?

Quick question - how about large apartment complexes?im guessing a large majority of the replies here are regarding privately handled and rented spaces, correct?
Every complex has their own rules. I have a friend who manages a complex that only allows one pet per apartment, you have to list them on the rental application, and pets have to be under 20 pounds. They used to require renters with pets to carry a higher amount of personal liability on their renter's insurance ($500,000 vs. $250,000 for renters with no pets), but they did away with that a few years ago.
