Hi, I'm thinking about reinstating my real estate license from many moons ago (MA).
I honestly can't think of a better way to get some financial independence right now which I need badly.

I'm into renting. Fast money, not a lot of paperwork, time, stress, etc.

I know the MA market is excellent, but I may not want to stay here. The only states that have full reciprocity with MA for Salespersons that I'm interested in living in are CT, RI and CO. The other states are places I'd be bored silly like WV.

Of CT, RI and CO, which have a good rental market where I could actually earn a living at this, and where would you go and why? CO sounds great but isn't the whole state cold most of the year like MA?

Anything else I should know about reciprocity that might make it tough to go to another state (other than the fact I wouldn't know the area!)

Perhaps the real estate professionals forum here on city data might be a better place to ask about licensing?

I can't decide whether you are asking about selling real estate rather than a property management job. Property management is not fast money, there is plenty of stress, lots of laws and regulations with high penalties to learn, there is a ton of paperwork, and the work never ends.

Depending on state, you either will need to take CE for that state and/or pass local portion of the test. I would look at RE website to see what they say the requirement for reciprocal is.
